Summary:
This is a routine out-patient Corneal Transplantation package.
Cornal transplantion is also known as penetrating
keratoplasty, corneal graft, PKP, and PK. It is a
surgical procedure to remove the diseased part of
the cornea and replace it with a similarly sized and
shaped part of a healthy donor cornea.

hospital to hospital. The cost ranges provided are based upon our
best understanding of the patient's condition at the time of
contact and do not represent a minimum or maximum potential
cost. The listed prices represent the professional fees of
our eye surgeons. The patient settles hospital bills directly.
Special package pricing for some procedures is extended only to patients paying cash where
such payments are sourced within the Philippines. No discounts
of any kind may be applied to package prices and IOLs.
Philhealth: Local residents may avail of their Philhealth
benefits. Please inquire about the requirements and your coverage.
Preprocessing of complete requirements is required prior to booking.
HMOs: Local residents may avail of Philippine HMO benefits.
Please inquire about the requirements and your coverage. An LOA is
required prior to booking.
20% Senior Citizen Discount: Local residents may avail of their
senior citizen discount for professional fees (itemized billing) only. Packages and
IOLs are excluded.
Refractive
Surgery: Philhealth, HMOs and insurance companies do not provide
coverage for refractive surgery).
12% E-VAT: a 12% Expanded Value Added Tax is included in your bill. You may use your official receipt to claim
your input VAT during BIR filing of income. Philippine law requires
the collection of a
12% E-VAT for all services provided to the end user.
EYE REPUBLIC LOYALTY privilege card: Please read the
terms and
conditions.
International Insurance Providers: Calvo, Tricare and Blue Cross and 6 other
international insurance providers may be used at Asian Hospital.
Reimbursements may be claimed for Blue Cross and Bupa. If your international
insurance provider is not accepted at any of our facilities, fees
are paid in advance and an official receipt together with a medical
abstract and operative technique is given for reimbursement
purposes. Refractive laser surgery is not covered by international
insurance providers.
Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Electron, and
JCB): Two
(2) valid government issued IDs with photo (driver's license, PRC
license, passport, senior citizen card) are needed when using credit
cards.
